Federal 金融 aid only pays for 类 that are required for y我们的 C我们的se Program 研究(CPoS). 这意味着:  

• Only 类 needed for graduation in y我们的 current major will be covered. 这包括 prerequisite 类, Learning Support, and ESOL c我们的ses as long as you are eligible. 
• You must work closely with y我们的 academic advisor to ensure you are choosing the correct 类.
• You should use Degree Works to check that you have declared the correct major.
• If you need to change y我们的 major, use the “What If” function in Degree Works to review the effect a change of major will have on y我们的 progression to graduation.
• You must file the change of major form with the Records office by the deadline each 术语.
• Complete the NSCC 金融 援助 Form online (be sure to answer the question about miscellaneous charges) to make the most of y我们的 aid. 这个链接在你的mynsc 财政援助要求下的帐户. 

After the first two weeks of 类, changes to y我们的 schedule will not result in 任何联邦援助的增加.

• You have signed paperwork with y我们的 advisor to substitute a required class (must be submitted to Records before the first two weeks of class for that semester).

Federal 金融 aid requires recipients to comply with Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). This means you must make progress towards earning y我们的 degree. 这些需求 是:
